Emery tape was traditionally used in metal finishing especially on round bar. Today improved aluminium oxide abrasive is more durable. Stocked in 25mm and 50mm rolls.

This aluminium oxide abrasive gives superior life and performance to the traditional emery strip. Effective in coatings removal, cleaning and final finishing. Works well on steel and cast iron. Also for wood, fibreglass and plastics. Highly flexible, hence ideal; for hand use where it can applied safely.

Specification:

  • Aluminium oxide abrasive grain.
  • Flexible F weight cotton backing.
  • Stocked in 25mm (1") and 50mm (2") wide rolls, but can be slit to customer requirements, please enquire.
  • Available in a wide range of grades from 36 (coarse) to 320 (very fine).
