Surface Conditioning (SCM) Tube Finishing Belts
ex vat
Surface conditioning material gives a high level of consistency in applying brushed or satin finishes to stainless steel as well as other metals. They are thus popular as the end process in finishing systems where a efficiency and consistency are important. They will remove blemishes and surface discolouration. Providing they are not excessively used to remove burrs, they will give a long service life. Typically, a coarse grade can be used after a 120 grade zirconium to give hand rails a brushed finish with suitable grip. The grades are based on Coarse (approx 150-180 DP1 finish), Medium (approx 220-240 finish) and Very Fine (approx 320-360 finish).
